Air Source Heat Pump

Air Source Heat Pump Design and Installation

For an Air Source Heat Pump to operate efficiently and effectively the system design process is as crucial as the heat pump and associated equipment installation itself.

The investment in time taken to accurately build a full picture of a property’s total heat loss, heating requirements and advising you on the different types of heat emitter and insulation options is fundamental to selecting the correct size heat pump model and increasing a buildings overall efficiency with both new build and retro-fit installations.

Please call for an initial discussion, we will run through the design process and information we required to spec your new air source heat pump and associated equipment.

What does it involve?

New Build Property - With our experience for a new build property we can comprehensively calculate and understand a property’s heat loss, heating and hot water requirements from the buildings architectural plans and expected building use.

Existing Property - For an Air Source Heat Pump retro-fit to an existing property we will always take the time to visit the proposed property and conduct a room by room heat loss calculation and building survey to accurately build up a full picture of a property’s use, heating demand, hot water demand and physical build.

How does it work?

Once we have the vital calculations and drawings we can then select the most suitable heat pump type, model, size kW, equipment location and electrical supply requirements.
